3 major changes in CoD Season 2 Reloaded

Three New Maps 

The much anticipated Season 2 update for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 is finally here, releasing today at 12PM EST. Whenever a new map is released the hype is palpable, and the release of three new maps has fans abuzz about the upcoming mid-season update. There’s one remastered map dropping, which is Das Haus. Das Haus will be a 6v6 multiplayer map and was known previously for fighting in close quarters. With the remastering, however, this map will be on top of a skyscraper, guaranteeing an added dimension to Das Haus. The other two maps released are variants of older maps, and also all 6v6 multiplayer maps. Skidrow, which takes place at an abandoned urban center, and Airborne, which takes place after an alien attack, leaving a green reminiscence as the backdrop for your battle. These maps provide a new spark to Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3, and we hope to see you playing them on Players’ Lounge soon!

Updates to Warzone

Perhaps the most popular game mode in Call of Duty is the multiplayer Warzone game mode. Warzone is the battle royale game mode for Call of Duty, with 150 players battling it out until only one team or player remains standing. While there are some minor updates like a new vessel for players to travel on, and a newfield upgrade to protect yourself against poisonous gas, the thing players are excited about the most is the new killstreak. The new killstreak's name is Bunker Buster. This killstreak drops a missile overhead and releases a poisonous gas in its wake. Binoculars are used to trigger this killstreak, which should be used extensively on Warzone, you can be sure people will be using Bunker Buster to win Warzone games on Players’ Lounge!

New Modes

The Call of Duty season 2 update also adds two new game modes to the game! The first new game mode, Bounty, is similar to a TDM (team deathmatch) game, however, bounty highlights who on each team has the most kills, and makes them worth more than just the regular amount of points you’d get for a single kill. This changes the strategy of the game and makes aggressive players also have to be passive at times. The other new game mode is Juggernaut, where each player is an ultramarine with super armor that is almost impossible to break. The key to winning the Juggernaut map is gaining control of the one-hit kill weapon at the center of the map. If you’re able to gain control of that weapon and keep it, you’ll be able to dominate your opponents in the Juggernaut game mode.
