A Beloved My Team feature Makes its Return

The popular NBA2K25 game mode MyTeam, has taken a step back in recent 2Ks due to some heavy criticism from the NBA2K community. Mainly, due to the increased pay-to-win aspect, alongside the removal of the very popular and highly used auction house feature. The Auction House was a beloved feature in earlier versions of NBA 2K's MyTeam mode, providing a bustling marketplace where players could acquire coveted cards, offload duplicates, and engage in strategic trading. Its absence in NBA 2K24 was met with disappointment from many fans who missed the depth and engagement it brought to the game. The auction house will be sure to make My Team much more affordable for all NBA2K players as well!

Over 9,000 new animations

A common criticism of the NBA2K franchise is the games have similar animations in each of them. For NBA2K25, 2k appears determined for the newest edition of their historic franchise to have a new and fresh feel to it. With 9,000 new animations, these will include everything you could think of! New defensive animations will feature things such as bumps, blocks, boxouts, steals, and more! Offensively, you can be sure to see new animations with things such as shot releases, dribble animations, speed boost, layups, dunks, and more as well. These new animations are a pretty safe bet to shape whatever the meta of NBA2K25 will be, and will hopefully bring enough variety for NBA2K25 to not only have a unique feel to it, but for it to stay unique and fresh throughout the year as well!

The Old Parks are Back

Bringing back the glorious days of the Park game mode, NBA2K25 featured 4 of the most famous parks in NBA2K history. Sunset Beach, Old Town, Rivet Town, and Old Town Aircraft Carrier Park. These parks not only were great but also provide a nostalgia factor for many of the players who’ve been playing 2k for years. 2K has continued their trend of listening to player feedback for NBA2K25, by announcing that all four of these parks will be returning to NBA2K25. For the first time in years, the Park game mode has the potential to be back to the electric atmosphere that it was in previous 2Ks once again!
